1* Contact us to book a session or to arrange a consultation.
A 50% deposit may be required to hold the date. The full balance is due on the day of the shoot. We accept cash, check or credit card.
2* We suggest a bath or groom a day or two before the session
so that your angel is looking his or her best. ** Book a session and qualify for 10% off a bath or groom at Midtown Grooming.
3* Your proofs will be available on-line, or by consultation, within 2 weeks. Then, browse and choose your favorites! Prints are produced professionally, on high-quality, archival paper. Additional prints may be ordered at any time.
4* Brag to all of your friends about the cutest pet in the whole world.

We, Abercrombie & Bitch, specialize in Animal Photography and aim to honor the individuality of each and every pet.
By photographing animals in their environment, both photographer and animal are able to express themselves with freedom and movement. Experience has taught us that animals photograph best when they are able to wiggle, bounce, strut, squirm, ...or just lounge in their favorite spot. We do not take rigid shots. Animal and Photographer are moving, fluid, and responding to one another in a relaxed manner.

Karen Ryan earned her B.A. from
the University of Texas, where she
studied photojournalism and studio art.
Abercrombie & Bitch was born
from a desire to combine
her career in photography with her
life-long love of animals.
As a long-time Austin resident,
Karen recognized a need for high-quality,
custom pet portraiture. Her portraiture
encompasses a unique style
that breaks the mold
of predictable, rigid imagery.
Karen’s experience with animals
